Awww, thanks everyone! I was stumped this month on what to do for the wallpaper and then it just came to me. :p Thanks for all your positive comments everyone!

I managed to download big size wallpaper last month. Trying to download 1280x800, just can't download this time. All I get is a small 800X500 size wallpaper, though the name of the file is still (sept2011botm1280x800). Any clues?

It sounds like you are saving the picture from my post rather than my Photobucket album. The Talk Budgies forum software resizes all images to a maximum size of 800x500 so if you are saving an image from a forum post, it will only be the size that the forum permits... Try clicking on the link to go to my Photobucket page and download a wallpaper directly from there. :)

Let me know if you run into any issues, okay? :)

This is how it came out when I loaded it as desktop wallpaper.

Our computer somehow "stretched" it and it is all distorted. (?)

Can you tell me how to determine the actual size I need?

To see what resolution you'd need, you basically go to your Control Panel where you set the desktop picture. There's a "settings" option that should show you your resolution. (Depending on which operating system you are using, Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, the steps to getting there are a little different... let me know which one you are using.)

One thing you want to make sure of is that you are downloading the wallpaper from my Photobucket website found here (http://s77.photobucket.com/albums/j50/Budgiekin/Talk%20Budgies%20Wallpapers/September%202011%20Budgie%20of%20the%20Month/) rather than trying to save the wallpaper from my post within Talk Budgies...
