hi all
these are my babies the white and blue is Floyd, i posted in the in memory forum how sadly the other day we lost his partner pink , but we now have a new addition the green 1 he is 6/7 weeks old and is settling in great ( i think hes been here before) any way i thought i would post a couple of pics to let you all meet them.... and if u have any thoughts on names they would be much appreciated

Hi,

Did you settle on the name Lexxi for your green Budgie or is that the name of a Budgie you had in the past? I just noticed that you didn't have anyone respond to your request for names and it has almost been a month since you asked for suggestions.

Let us know if Lexxi is the name you've chosen or if you still need some ideas.

yes we chose lexxi as the new babys name, well my boyfriend picked it, my lutino was named pink, and my little boy is floyd, she has settled in great and was stepping up after 2 days, she also has something weird with her wings, her flight feathers have grown in at a funny angle, she can flutter around the room but i find shes losing a couple of blood feathers every couple of weeks, but we keep her happy and the personality is shining through now :D

to be honest buuzbee i've had her for a month now, the day i got her was the day i joined and had no clue about quarantining, but since being on here i have learned so much, i've had birds since i was about 3 or 4 but only 1 at a time, i got pink and floyd together from the same place so it never occurred to me about the quaratine period, but lesson learned, i know much nore about what they need and how to keep them happy and healthy so i'm becoming a better owner.

she has fitted in so well, she's great, no biting at all! her fav places are top of my head and top of the moniter lol, she'll even intereact with my 4 year old son,

shes even bossing floyd around (typical female :laughing:) but he absolutly loves her, constantly kissing her ...(even when she doesnt want him too), she loves her veggies and fruit, and has even taught floyd how to play again, i dont think i could have had a better new addition to the family :D
