RIP Lemon

It seems like i've been posting in the In Memory forum too much lately. :(
Lemon died today, i have no idea why or of what. THere was no sign leading up to this and im asuming its something that it caught at petco.
For the 5 days that i owned him/her i felt like we were really starting a great bond, too bad it had to be cut so short. Rest in peace dear Lemon

I am so sorry to hear that Lemon has passed. :( 5 days is such a short time, and Lemon left too soon but I'm sure the time he has spent with you were one of his greatests.

I am so sorry too. You should take him back to Petco, but they will want the body. Petsmart has a 2-week any reason at all return policy on their budgies.

That what happened to me with Pecka :( I've had her for exactly 6 days, strongest bond I've had with all my budgies, and despite the meds I pout her on, she couldn't mak it through.

I tried looking up all her symptoms(sp?) and it looks like she had resperatory problems and bactrial infection.

Now i do not shop at petco, since if they can't keep and sell their pets at healthy conditions, then they shouldn't be open (I shop at a petsmart, which is much healthier, and though it is much farther, it is worth the extra 30 minutes.)

aww wow you should take her body back, maybe they will refund your money or let you get another bird( not that you would want to since if it is disease chnaces are they all have it) but still that is horrible!
