from "the healty bird cookbook"

BERRIES (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cranberries, etc.) Strawberries leaves help to remove metallic poisons from the blood. Raspberry leaves help soothe the entire system. Blackberries are a source of ascorbic acid, and strawberries a source of vitamin C and potassium.

they are very good for them! BUT messy lol

I never thought of blueberries. I have tons of them in the freezer from my father-in-laws bushes.
