Yesterday i bought my first cockatiel!

Its grey and white and so beautiful, its a $120 bird but the guy at the shop always goes on about how is weak for pretty women and asked me how much i would like it for..i said 50 lol and i got it! and a new cage, i bought it for my lovebird to play with because my lovie is so gentle and the budgies are mean to it so yeah :) And the poor tiel was being attacked by the other tiels a lot of its tail feathers are short now so i wanted to look after it :) I didnt want to buy another lovie because it would probably attack Pumpkin..but im very happy with my tiel its young and handraised and just so tame and lovely i promised i would buy my food from there because he gave me the bird so cheap! i think its a boy...what do you guys think are some cute boys name, i love my friends birds name 'Duke' but i cant copy :P

congratz cant wait for pics.. hmm i am horrible at thinkin of names.. but i will try and think of a few..

Kodo/Koda (depending on male or female, or which ever you like better)
Apollo
Dusty
Indy
Kahlua (after the drink.. i like the name lol)
and dats all i can think of at the moment. lol

g'luck on deciding/thinking of a name you like :D

Ooh i like dusty and indy! it was very dusty when i bought it! it had a nice warm shower with mama :)

Well seeing it's an Aussie cockatiel how about ....

'Cobber' 'Wally' or 'Digga' if it's a boy and
'Sheila' or 'Bewdy' (which of course is Aussie slang for Beauty) if it's a girl.

yep tiel are very dusty, but not as dusty as 'toos!

well, if my mum gets a 'tiel, she'll name it Stormy if it's grey and white. You could possibly name it that, if you want.

how much is $120.00in £GBP? it sounds rather expensive for a cockatiel.
