How to tame a wild budgie

Well I got a companion for pixie over the weekend but as it look he is wild. He gets nervous only if I look at him. Anyways is there any way I could make him a bit friendlier? My sister give him to me because he came to their house from listening to the other budgies so I have absolutely no backgrowun on him. Any tricks or ideas?

Take it slow talk to him and try to spend time near the cage for the first few days then try to move on there are alot of threads on training on this site you should read as much as you can about budgies that will make it easy for you to understand there actions:)Good luck don't give up:)
