New Forum for Budgie Emergencies...

The Budgie Emergency Room is now open!

We try to take care of our budgies as best we can, but unfortunately they may have an accident or become suddenly ill. Our new Emergency Room forum is available for all members to use in the event of a budgie accident or sudden illness. Our goal for that forum is to provide quick responses to help stabilize your budgie.

Any advice given is not to be considered a substitute for veterinary advice or treatment. It is to be used for initial assessment only until you can contact a veterinarian for treatment.

Since this is a new forum for us, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

We are very much looking forward to seeing how members like having this new forum. Our intention was to make it easier for members in need of urgent help for their budgie to have a special place to post so they don't get list in the shuffle when time is of the essence. :)

I remember suggesting this a long time ago, but it got rejected because people said that new members might take it and assume that we are a good replacement for a 'vet'....http://talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=69473

I hope it helps too. When a members budgie has an accident or sudden illness it helps to have a special place to post and try to get help. While I hope that nobody needs to post here it's nice to know that we have it. (just in case) ;)

We hope so. Remember all members are encouraged to offer their advice when they see a budgie emergency has been posted.
This is a forum where I honestly hope there are not many threads, but when there is one I hope we all can help as best we can.
