Cracking of the beaks..??

I am just wondering why do my budgies make this crackling noise with their beaks? are they talking? anyone know? plz reply...

It is normal...sometimes they just do this with there beak to sort of file it down or just because thier content:)

That beak crackling you are asking about is actually called "chewing the cud". As everyone else has already indicated, this is a sign of a content budgie. :p

I guess my budgies are content then. :P The only bad part about this is that it can drive you nuts if you're sitting in a quiet room while they're doing it. :P
