Hi,

My names Kylie, live in Sydney Australia. Have had 5 budgies in the past, never really 'trained' them as such, more just handling...About to get a 6wk old male for study assessment in which I have to train him and Im not sure what I can train him to do and how to go about it so advice and training techniques would be greatly appreciated - after he has been my assessment task he will be a much loved pet just like all our other animals here at home LOL

Maybe you could consider doing clicker training with your sweetie when he/she arrives. Bea is working on this with her budgies Blinkie and Ozzie so she would be able to tell you more about it.
