Another Landmark for Kiki

I noticed this morning when I looked into Kiki's cage that she was actually sleeping with her head tucked back into her feathers. She has never slept like that before so I am contributing it to the fact that maybe she is feeling much more comfortable around me now! :D

Congratulations! How did she used to sleep? Also if they fluff up around you, they are comfartable too.

I think that budgies that sleep with heads tucked in are very comfortable and trust their environment. Congrats.

wow I forgot about this post lol. It is about 3 months old. Well she used to just sleep perching straight forward, she just closed her eyes. She still sleeps like that most of the time but occasionally I will see her with her head tucked back, usually very early in the morning when I wake up without the alarm clock going off.
