This is my baby girl Evie, she is coming up to 5months old now and seems to think she is a budgie!!

That's what happens when you spend so much time with them!!

Anyway, here she is on Elwood and Jakes play gym! :rolleyes:

She is just gorgeous, I love her enormous beak and those red feathers :)

And hehe, I think she's a little bit too big for those ladders :P

I have always wanted a African grey, but I will save to get one when I get older.

I actually went to buy a teil but when i got to the shop it turned out to be quite nasty! On my way out of the shop i spotted this cage on the counter with 4 baby african greys inside!

I totally fell in love and started chatting to the man working there who happened to have hand reared them.

I had always wanted an African Grey but wanted to wait for a hand reared one and knew its background etc.

I went home, started some serious saving and within a few weeks i had enough money for her! I went to get her and her HUGE cage (which was included in the price of buying her) and took her home and i have never looked back!

Buying her is the best thing i have ever done, she is ALOT of work but i have such a relationship with her that i could never ever replace :p

I've always wanted a Hyacinth parrot, but they are the largest and the noisiest (if not the messiest) parrots alive!! lol

But for now, budgies are my fav. :) And tiels, and Indian ringnecks too lol :rolleyes:

This is another one of her being up to no good!! This is one of her favourite toys, her Scooby Doo pot! She takes the lid off and pops her head in on a regular basis!! :D

Evie is incredibly noisy, she constantly ring the telephone and answers it, barks exactly like my dog, calls "Elwood" all the time, blows kisses. Its so funny but SO loud sometimes, bless her :rolleyes:

I want a a Teil, but my current ability to get birds are finches, Budgies, and Lovebirds. All the rest are "Too Dang Noisy." In my father's words. He says when I have my own house I can have whatever bird I want, but not while I'm under his roof. -groan-

Aren't tiels quiter than lovebirds? They seem to scream all the time when I go to the petstore, while the tiels just play with there toys and eat.


Aww, what a cutie! I love greys! It must be great having a Grey. They have greys at the pet store I go to, they are such clowns!

Aw. What a gorgeous bird! If I am going to get a large bird I would probably choose an African Grey, they are so gorgeous.
