Any One Have A hamster?

Today my neighbor was giving away a litter of baby hamsters I took to females thay are white with a biege head.they are really cute.There sisters,anyone else ahve a hamster or more?I havent had the chance to take some pics.

I used to have hamsters. Growing up I had owned (not all at one time) 5 hamsters.

I've owned 3 hamsters. My first hamster was called Smartie, she was white with pink eyes. She was a Syrian hamster, i think they are the biggest. I also had 2 russian hamsters who were brothers - Topsy and Pepper. Pepper killed Topsy through fighting, so the only hamster i have now is Pepper.

Awww! Poor Topsy. Poppy is a Syrian. Russian hamsters like running really fast don't they.

Yeah definatly!! I've let Pepper out of his cage so many times and he has just ran away from me. I've panicked but i've always caught him.

Phew!

Once, I'd just cleaned Poppy out, and left her and her cage on the kitchen floor, but I'd forgotten to shut the door! Me and My Mum were watching TV and Poppy can wondering in! It was hilarious!

Pepper is so small and squirmy. He wriggles out of my hands and bolts away from me. Does Poppy bite? Pepper does!!

Yeah Syarian hamsters and all hmsters are really agressive towrds each other. I have 2 sisters in the same cage:eek: they are 4 weeks old now!I have to get a new cage now...SOON:eek: I love my hamsters they are also whit with red eyes but have a very very light biege color mask on them.:)

I breed russian hamsters for a while, i had two albino ones, pinky and candy who had 4 babies, one stragled itself on the bars of a cage. Then candy had another litter of 8 babies. they looked like little peanuts when they were born but when they got thier fur they were adorable, i had to sell them all in the end as i did't have the time to look after them. I've also had 3 syrian hamsters, Taz, Matilda and Moomin, they all lived seperatly obviously, i did attempt to breed them but it was unsuccessful. Once the last one, moomin died i never got anymore. I have two guinea pigs now, who i adore, and two fish who live in my room in a spongebob squarepants tank and of course all my lovely budgies...oh and lets not forget the field mice that live in the bottom of the aviary!

Just out of curiosity do hamsters and birds get along togeather? They have never been ever thought of or mentioned togeather so Im curios what happens. Someone try it.

I dont think its a good idea to put a hamster with a bird.....Ive tried a guinea pig with a budgie it dint turn out to well,the guinea pig almost trampled the poor budgie on the bottom of the cage floor!

Poppy and The Budgies get along fine. I put Poppy on the top of thier cage and the birds preen her through the bars!

Does Poppy bite? No. She never has and she's super tame. She's also over-weight! Lol :rolleyes: .
