Budgies Mating

Hello, for a while now I have noticed my budgies trying to mate. Today I saw them mating, and the male jumped on the female. Also, there was high pitched chirping and shes is going near the nestbox. Just wondering how long it will take to get her first egg. :budgie::D

Ok If they mated it will take one day or two for her to lay her first egg... Sometimes it takes a little longer like 3 or 4 days. But 2 days is the most commom!

Last year I bred them but the chicks died..
But I have more knowlege more now...

you can only look out for signs, keep an eye out for big poo ;)
