Hiya all, felt so sorry for Monty who I only got last monday, got him a friend today and they are just great together. Got Elvis (he is pure white with just a hint of blue on his wings) from the same enclosure that Monty was in so they said all their birds were quarantened before they got them so just alter the cage and put Elvis in first. There was a stand-off a dawn for 5mins or so then they seemed to gel. Changed Monty's name to Buddy as his personality has come out this afternoon and he is no longer quiet and still. They are about 8-10 wks old and have raced around the cage together this afternoon and it now melts my heart to see them asleep all cuddled up together. I am so glad I got Elvis as a companion to Buddy - just need to do double training now! Will keep you all informed and hopefully get a digital camera soon and post pics x

i will brb my mom is making me emty the dish wash but for a goood reason i get cake!!!

Hahah I know the feeling I had Rutie for less then a month before I caved in and finally saw the joy of seeing two budgies play together and bond. Congrates on your new addition!

I loved getting another bird too! It's so cool seeing how they act together. I can't wait for pics!
