What a great first week we had!! Take a look at the video to see the entries from week one and who got eliminated.

So, this contest would not be a contest without our three fantastic judges! I shall introduce them again:

Let's have another refresher of the rules. :)
Rules:
Each new challenge will be posted early Sunday morning in the Western Hemisphere. For those in the Eastern Hemisphere, you will likely see the new thread Sunday midday or Sunday night. Contestants will have four (4) days to enter a photo. So, the deadline for entering a photo for the challenges will be Wednesday night at 9pm EST (people in different time zones will have to figure out what time that is in your time zone, you can use this site (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html) to convert the time to your time zone. ;)).
Then, the judges will deliberate for the rest of the week (Thursday Friday Saturday) and the results and new challenges will be posted the following Sunday.
The DIVA card: So basically, if your Budgie is not co-operating with you for the challenge and you don't know what to do, you can use your DIVA card. This season's DIVA card has not been chosen yet, so it will be announced on the day of the first challenge.
Rules for the DIVA card:
It can only be used ONCE during the entire competition so use it only when you really have to!
The DIVA card can be used for any round except the final.
So, the DIVA card for this season will be:
Sleepy Bird!
Also, please try to enter a recent picture, preferably one that has been taken during this competition, for this competition. ;)

Bon Appetit!!
So this should be a good challenge. There are a few options you can do for this challenge. You could have a picture of your bird dining at a fancy restaurant. Or you could have your bird pigging out on its favourite food. Don't forget to add lots of interaction with the picture!!
The deadline will be Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 at 9pm EST!!
Well that's about it for what I have to say. Week 1 was a great week, so let's make this week even better. Can't wait to see the entries!!! :D
