FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT MAKE IT:
There is still a little bit of hope! Each week, we will allow you to enter a picture that is based on the challenge that week. It will be posted in it's own thread. For the most part, this will be a consolation contest for those who didn't make it; HOWEVER, if one of the contestants from the main contest drop out, you have a chance to take their place! :eek:

If a member has to drop out, louara and I will consult with each other and figure out who, out of the people who are playing in the consolation, will take their place. The consolation contest is completely optional, but I will tell you that one of the main factors of being chosen should someone drop out is the amount someone participates in the consolation contest.

So! Stay tuned early tomorrow, Eastern Time, for the first challenge, and we will let the games begin!!!! The judges will also be announced tomorrow too, so watch for that! Congratulations and good luck! :D :D

oh wow. i scanned thru this and didnt expect to see my mango lol this will be fun. all the birds are gorgeous and very tough competition! we will see how it goes with my not very tame bird :P

All of the applicants who did not make the top ten cut are invited and encouraged to play along in a seperate thread that will be opened up just for them. In the event that one of the top ten contestants has to drop out, Brandon and I will go to this thread to pick a replacement contestant.
Hopefully all of the applicants who did not make the top ten will play along.
I played along in Season 3 and it really gave me a sense of how the game is played. Then I was ready for Season 4 and was lucky enough to be chosen as a contestant!

Just want to add that the thread for the non-top ten will not be judged of course, and it is not mandatory. But Brandon and I sure would like to see everyone there, who knows, I may be able to pull something out of my prize closet just for them. ;)

Just wondering if we get to see the rest of the entries? Last time on season 4 there was a video made announcing the top 13 contestants and a separate video showing the entries that did not make it. Just wondering if we were gonna have something like that this season too :)
