Urgent Plaese Help!!!!!

Please help me!I brought my budgie outside!And HE FLEW OUT OF HIS CAGE AND GOT AWAY!!!!!!:mad: :eek: :mad: :eek: :mad: :eek: Help me please I dont know what to do how do I find him!!!I put some bird seed outside and left my window open so if he decides to come back I could grab him his wings arent clipped.Please someone help me.What am I going to do:eek:

:( joey im sorry to hear youre sad news,im afraid you have done what you can by leaving food out in the hope he may find his way home.what kind of neighbour hood do you live in ? ask neighbours to keep a look out & you could put some posters up.anything is worth a go & you can feel sure you have done everything you can.keep us up dated please. my thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear about this! :( I agree with everything bluebird said. The posters are a good idea, and let the people around you know. Can't really think of much else you could do. Let's just hope he'll find his way home.

really thanx....im pretty clamed down now...I have a feeling he isnt coming back.I live in a big city.So I dont think he will survive ethier:( He just took off right over a big car dealer ship and I havent seen him ever since.Right after He flew away I was so mad I went to the birdroom and clipped all the budgies wings!From now on every bird I get will always have its wings clipped!I learned my lesson!I was so stupid who would bring a bird outside with its wings not clipped...duh!:mad:

Good call on clipping their wings :) and i'm so sorry about whats happened, but don't give up hope yet. put his cage full of food and water outside in a familiar place (on top of the aviary if its outside, or in the regular spot you took him out normally or just near your door if thats all you can think of) and leave it there for a few days... without the cage there is no hope cause even if he comes back he won't know where to go and even if you see him he'll probably fly away when you go near... but the cage he may go into and you can just walk up and close it! please try this, you never know! bugies are very smart and he's most likley near by trying to find a way home :(

Oh no, that's terrible, I really know how you feel as this has happened to me 3 times before.

All the advice is good, but if you live in a big city you don't really have a chance of getting him.

Well kida new!I bought him last week but i still have 2 males and a female left,but I feel so retarded like omg!I brought him outside I guess you leran from your mistakes I learned my lesson.

Put his cage outside, and make sure the seed and water dishes are full. If he is in the surrounding area he will spot his cage and land. Did you take him outside often? Tell neighbours etc to keep an eye out for him. Never give up hope.

This is the second day.He hasnet come back and it was very cold at night yesterday I dont think he survived.:( I guess he died knowing how it was to be free.Once they get out of that cage and into the air they never come back.He flew srtaight up withoit flapping his wings and he took off.O well - I learned my lesson and he is happpy now:)
