It's been a long time coming, but the votes are finally in! After much blood, sweat, and tears, the winners of the merchandise store design contest (http://talkbudgies.com/showthread.php?t=65382) have been decided! :party3:
And the winners are...
Wait! We can't announce the winners yet. :P First, we must reveal who the surprise judges were. We had three judges who made the decisions, but some of the other senior staff members contributed as well. Anyway, the three judges were:
:ranger: skythrutrees (aka Laura)
:ranger: Budgiekin (aka evil admin err, Kim)
:ranger: Dave (aka Dave :P)
As you can tell by that list, the debates were long and hard, and the wet noodle lashings were plentiful. :argue:
But enough about the judges, onto the results! :D
In the initial contest announcement, I mentioned there would be three winners. Unforunately, we couldn't decide on three winners. There we so many good entries that we had to choose FOUR winners! That's right, four people are going to win some Karma.
So here we go...
4th Place
It's my pleasure to announce, in 4th place, what has come to be known as Leel's crazy budgie design! Congratulations Leel! You've won 50 Karma points!

Third place goes to a design that definitely would work well on a t-shirt or coffee mug. Simple yet catchy, our third place winner is osutk17's "bird nerd" design. You're going to be getting 50 Karma points too, osutk17!

Coming in 2nd place, a great design by our very own Corina. I present to you, "making waves!" (The judges started giving names to all the entries in case you couldn't tell. :P) Congratulations Corina! You're going to be getting 75 Karma points!

Drum roll please! Our winner, whose design will be featured at the official Talk Budgies merchandise store (http://zazzle.com/talkbudgies) is Captaincarebear. The entry is a very eye-catching design called "got budgie?". This will be a nice complement to one of our current designs by a similar name.
