Friday I get my little parrotlet Gelato. He will be down to 2 hand feedings a day and available to come home with me! I'm very excited!
I hope my quaker will like him as much as he does the budgies! He's not the most cuddly of birds, but he is such a hoot! He likes to perch and play with his toys, occasionally call me for head/tummy scratch. He's my flying (noisy) "cat!"
It will be nice to have a bird that will want to cuddle and actually play hard. General my Quaker of observer and plays lightly with his toys, he's to sophisticated for that kind of behavior (I love this about him)!
I love all my birdie....... soon I will have my little budgie Pinot Noir fully tamed, and once his 30 days is up, he'll be allowed to come out of quarantine. I just can't wait for Gelato to be done with quarantine as well! Look at me, he's not even here and I'm salivating at the mouth!:eek:
