I was just wondering if this forum was against clipping budgies' wings down so that when they try to fly away they just look like a crashing airplane. xP

Well I'm proberly not going to clip my ones wings, as they're breeding, but I might clip in the future.

I put no but i do clip once for taming, after that i let the flight feathers grow back. My aviary birds are never clipped. :)

Its a good thing to do. Since my budgie flew away I cut all of the others wings!

I put NO, though I am still undecided.
I've heard some pretty heated debates on the subject, but I like to keep an open mind.
I think I will clip my two budgies' wings just to see if that helps with taming them, and after that let them grow back and then leave them be.

Does clipping the wings really help with taming?

Wing clipping can really help tame budgies since by having them clipped, it creates a dependence on you. In other words, your budgie learns to use you to as a perch so they can get to where they want to go. It is worth a try to see if clipping works for your budgie. If not, you can always let them grow back in. :p
