Please be careful posting pictures of your self over the net. You never know who is really on the other end>coming from a parent myself. Some of you guys have already said what town, state your from. It dose not take a predator long to find someone if they get anymore info. It makes it easier to have a picture of your self. Just think before you act.

I am really enjoying seeing the faces with the names also, but it is pretty dangerous if too much information is given out. I know a lot of people are posting their full birthday, age, and even the name of their town. If you post your picture on this site, maybe you should just remove the name of the town where you live and even the year you were born. Having just the name of your state or country would make it much more difficult for people to track you down.

Just a thought. Have fun but be safe!

Yes, we certainly do want to be careful, especially with the combination of posting pictures AND providing personal information as that makes it much easier for predators to find their prey. It is best to be vague with your location and other personal details about yourself as many predators will invest a significant amount of time to get to know someone well enough to make you believe they are genuine friends with you....NEVER meet anyone you meet online alone!!! If you're a minor, you'd want to make sure you have a trusted adult with you...

lol i wanted to get my ahir chemically straightened but i made the mistake of telling my sister and she was all like ohh dont do that it damges your hair so much and now my mom wont let me :(

It does damage your hair hunni, and it doesnt last long either I think its around 6weeks. Just invest in some good straightners and blow-dry your hair straight prior to usung your straightners and your hair will look like it is straight all the time, my hair does when I do mine. Remember to use some really good serum to protect your hair from your hair drier and the straightners. My straightners are Vidal Sassoon ones and they are the best I have had xxx

That's what I thought too, my hair was almsot down to my butt, and I got it all chopped off. I love it, and a lot of people have been telling me it looks nice. You should try one of those hair-cut simulators online to try it out.

And Star, your photo looks to be perfect size to me. And I love the freckles. I wish I had freckles.

I have freckles.... hehe. I've always hated them, but have learned to live with them. :) I get tons of freckles on my face when I go out in the sun!

lol yea , you must have good eyesight, i never even thought about the freckles on my arms, i have about 20 or so dotted about my arms and collarbone/chest area but thats about it :)

its strange, i have a few freckles and am not that keen on them yet people with out them want them, same with straight or curly hair,:D

I will tell you that I'm not so old as to play pranks on my friend Julie! :D
She is working VERY hard to become a budgie judge, but the rules still require her to be a champion for 5 years. She also has to place on the top bench in 5 consecutive years and one of those places MUST be a first. This will be her 2nd year as a champion. All the judges in the D/FW Budgie Club as well as the Houston Budgie Club know of her desire and are mentering (sp?) her and giving her training along the way. The show last week end in Bryan Station she was allowed to judge the Novice and Intermediate birds under Crawford Maddux. In other words if after she got through with a section if Crawford did not agree with her placement of the birds he would change it. (There was only 1 bird in the Intermediate division that he disagreed with her placement.) Anyway once the top 10 are picked the judge explains more about the birds he/she has placed on the division's top bench. Julie was talking about a lovely cobalt cock and looking at me the entire time. I though she looked like she needed some support so I gave her a BIG smile. :D Well that visibly shook her and she yelled at me that I was NOT to let her know that was my bird. I just shook my head and other reminded her I was an Intermediate and she was still working on the Novice division. A few more birds down the row she was still looking at me as she talked so I crossed my eyes at her. :soconfused: Again that visibly shook her and she told me to quit it. I was sitting next to Sharron and told her if Julie started looking at us again both of us would cross our eyes at her. We did :soconfused: :soconfused: and Julie sent me to the kitchen until she finished talking about the birds. What are friends for???? :)

I already have a picture of me in my profile, but that's cool. That picture is about 2 years old, I think. These are way more recent :)

Here's me busy on another hobby of mine - restoring my piano :) it's 110 years old and an absolute beauty. I acquired it because someone in my neighborhood was going to get rid of it. It was actually in surprisingly great shape. Beautifully carved!! If anyone is interested, I can post an album of the restoration that I've done so far. It's work that really makes you feel accomplished, and it connects you with the past in a way I couldn't have even imagined. I love it.
