Carrot is a good start and so are corn and peas. Carrot is easily obtained fresh. I peel it and mince it. She might just like to chomp on a bigger piece. I use frozen corn and peas. I thaw them by pouring boiling water on them. For one bird you won't need a lot. Maybe 5 kernels of corn or peas and 1 teaspoon of carrot. If you don't mind waste you can always put out more.
