well not really, but i've heard that female budgies are much more likely to chew on things than males, which is definately true of beaky, she loves trying to eat the curtains, wallpaper, me! pretty much anything she can get her beak on!! anyway, since she arrived zero has started trying to eat everything too! before he was quite happy just hopping around + only ever ate food!! maybe he's showing his feminine side, or just copying beaky cos he fancies her! so cute!! :)

aw thank you! when beaky's a bit older i'm gonna breed them, it'll be interesting to see what colour babies they have!! their colours didnt come out as bright as they are in real life theyr both kind of flourescent looking!!

ya both sexes do chew on things, but in my experiences you are right, the girls are the ones who chew like their life depends on it hahaha :) I often find my female trisket is the most curious and and active and leads the way with almost everything and my male keico just kinda sits there and chirps all day and then follows her into trouble now and again lol ;) I guess that they're very active partners intrigue them into chewing cause they make it look so fun hahaha.:p
