I don't think I'm getting Grover. :( The shelter owner said he is still with his owner and he isn't very nice, and it is going to be hard to find him a home. I don't think my parents will let me get another "Evil Bird" (as they call Cheekie). They have another 'too there named Gonzo, but they said he bit his owners very hard resulting in stitches, they think it's hormonal. My parents wouldn't care if it was hormonal, they don't want "Evil Birds". (They aren't bird people)

I'm saving up my money, and I think I might have enough for another bird by my b-day (In July). Maybe a too. :) But it will have to be a too that doeasn't need to be coddled 24/7 ;)

Awwww. I am so sorry to hear that Grover won't be coming home with you. I am sure you would have provided a great home for him. Hopefully you will have another opportunity in the not to distant future!

My parents have said to yes to another fid if I pay for it myself. I LOVE macaws too. There's a darling B&G at the rescue. Her name is Iris. I've held her she is oh so sweet! Theres something wrong with her little feets so you have to hug her when you hold her so she doeasn't fall. She isn't available for adoption yet. Today my mom suprised me by saying she loved macaws. She isn't a bird person (today she called feathers "leaves"! :giggle: ). If the macaw is available when I have the moolah, it might be her, or if there's a too then maybe the too. :)

the little macaw (she is a small one) isn't on their website so I don't know when she'll be listed, unless they changed her name. In our bird club, they're doing a series of articles on Iris. When I held her, I stroked her little head and talked to her and her squawks were so cute and quiet. :)

She could be listed as "Angel" on the website, and they didn't change it yet.
