New Merchandise Store!

I'm happy to announce (finally a happy announcement! :P) that TB has a new online merchandise store! Our store is now located at Zazzle (http://zazzle.com/talkbudgies). I made the move to Zazzle because they offer a few things that Printfection didn't offer, such as:

More variety
Gift certificates
Paypal accepted
Several neat back-end features for putting the store together
I hope that everyone takes advantage of the new store. I know there's not much being offered right now, but I promise you that is going to change very soon. *wink wink* Stay tuned for that announcement. :)

You can get to the store by using the TB Shopping menu (v3) or clicking on the store's link in the navbar (any other skin).

And remember: all money earned through the store goes right back into the site to pay for our new lightning fast server (:P), contest prizes, other giveaways, etc.

Lot's of more cool stuff in here now. Might have to try and buy some stuff. Including the toilet roll...err...tie. I'll wear it to a dance or something. :D

I was thinking it would be pretty cool if we were also able to get no ads and the extra supporter wings and title if we bought something through the store because isn't the money still going back to the site if we buy from the store? So wouldn't that also be a way of supporting? Just a thought. :P

Errr - Nah !!! Think not to both. Car way too cool (plus in my defence I only get to keep it for 6 weeks before I have to get another one due to the mileage I do) and thankfully Monsieur Hipster doesn't go down the local (I do the drinking for the pair of us :giggle:

Can't see that working - as the no ads comes with the subscription, otherwise you would be getting merchandise and no ads for the same money. So the site would miss out, I think that would be the way they would look at it - does that make sense?

Not to put a damper on things, but if I bought a TB mug home it would remind us of how his father was recently diagnosed with TB in India, "I love TB" not so cool. It's just an unfortunate coincidence.
I think the bird shirts are great though. I also think a parakeet tie would be an awesome addition.
