Talkbudgies.com is a world wide community, and, with the holidays rapidly approaching, what better way to celebrate than to show off our diversity! Christmas, New Year’s, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa are just a few examples of December holiday celebrations. Do you have a particular holiday tradition that you celebrate? If so, now is your chance to show us.

Read the entire section below carefully so you don’t miss any key points.

All submission must be of original design.

The design must incorporate your budgie(s). Other pets (and humans) are allowed to be a part of the design but the main focus must be on the budgie(s).

The design must have a December holiday theme. Show us the spirit of the season and how you celebrate it with your budgie(s).

How you make your design is up to you.

You can use a photograph and edit it using Photoshop to create your design. The age of the photograph does not matter. If you do not have Photoshop, there are plenty of free online photo imaging editing sites that also create a Photoshopped effect. Photobucket, Picasa, Blingee and others offer these tools.

You can paint or draw your entry.

You can enter a natural unedited photograph. Please be sure that your budgie(s) is a willing participant if you choose this option.

The possibilities are endless!

A greeting card is an illustrated card featuring an expression of friendship or other sentiment, so text must appear along with your design submission.
A short holiday greeting is all that is required. If English is not your first language, you are encouraged to write your greeting in your native language.

All entries are final. You will not be allowed to change your entry once it has been posted.

The winner will be decided by a panel of judges.

I see some very festive siggys around the forum lately. I bet many of you could transform your siggys into greeting cards as well.
