Aren't male budgies' heads more round than females? What are other differences besides the cere color? Maybe this'll help to ^^ For others and not just me ^^

I have never heard of the head being rounder but I have read that the hen is usuall more aggressive and the male are more vocal....really hard to tell in albino and lutino's and color mutatons:)

Im sure i've read somewhere that the male's head is bigger and rounder than a female's. And also that males are a lot more vocal.

There are so many possible "variations" in head conformation. English vs. American, etc. If you're looking for a larger headed type budgie, get English. I think most of the variation in size comes from heredity. If I have smallish birds that are outstanding colors, I will breed them to the larger English ones and the resulting babies will be slightly larger than the smaller parent. Then, I'll breed these babies to English stock and, eventually, bring size up to the standard I want.
