I thought the whole concept of seeing from a birds point of view was actually kind of amazing. They get to see things from a "higher" prospective. I decided to take top pictures of my budgies on my window sill. since most of the pictures come out clear there.

I like his blue too, especially his blue on his rump its a very bright blue when he gets done molting. I always thought he kind of looked like Dallas' twin, well faturnal twin. :p

What is the difference between yf and yf2? And if the bird is an olive green dominant pied you don't say yf or yf2? Thanks!

How do you tell the difference between a yellow face and a golden face? I can't seem to find any info on this....

YF - For a Yellow Face the yellow doesn't spread throughout the body. The body remains it's regular color.
YF2 - For a Yellow face Type 2 the yellow does spread which makes the body color a somewhat seafoam green or any other color I think.
If a budgie is pied with a yellow face you don't refer to it as a YF of any kind. Unless it's like Minu then it is classified as a YF2 Recessive Pied.

The main difference between a YF and a GF is that a GF has a much stronger yellow than any YF.
This site is helpful with pics of a GF and a YF:

How about this one! This is my Winter after taking a bath!

Here is another picture of Winter but you can see terribly how she has this blue suffusion about her with the light. She is all white in real life but in the light you can notice this effect. That is because the albino is a blue series bird. Not all albinos have this "problem", meaning that in bird shows it is considered a fault.
