poop question

Niblet always seems to have poop stuck on her butt and I don't know why.
Her poop is normal but doesn't seem to drop like it should so I have to wash her butt al the time.
This is not normal is it?:feedback:

Hmm, is there anything else unusual about this budgie? Sitting fluffed up? Being quiet? Anything? If this doesn't stop take to an avian vet.

nope, she is friendly, twitters, eats normally, plays with the others and her toys....all behavior is normal

Oh. Nice.
I'd take her to an avian vet, just to make sure she's alright.
Also keep her away from the others so if she does have something wrong with her the others won't catch it.

It sounds like there might be a problem I would suggest you get your budgie to a vet soon...you probably know they don't usually show when they are sick and thier poop is the first sighn...maybe you can call in to the vet?

i was woundering the same thing. Sometimes by budgies droppings willl stick to her but . I don't think you have to wash it, they will clean it off like they clean their feathers.

Do you have a young budgie? Often times I have found that young budgies have a tendency to get poops stuck to their bums; usually it is only one at any given time. That's okay and is nothing to be concerned about, as long as the poops are still formed and appear normal.

However, if you are ever in doubt about the health of your sweetie, please bring her to an avian vet.

well my budgie is really young, the poop is well formed but she might get more than one stuck at a time. I really hope she's alright :).
