I'm crazy!

My friend is getting chickens in a couple of years, and she's going to give me a chick!!

I have rasied chickens before, excpet they weren't mine, but I still know how to raise a chick. I still have the (disassembled) chicken coop in my basement, so I don't have to get another one once I get it.


Only one, that's it!!! lol

Not sure. When my friend had chickens awhile ago, there were all different breeds, so I'm not sure what their getting now.

Well, all chickens are just adorable. :)
My fav is the Japanese Bantams, I would like to have some when I get older.

I know a lady with a ton of chickens, I love it when new ones hatch and I can go and see the fluffy little chicks. :p
She never has to buy anymore eggs. :giggle:

ma nana and aunt jane when they were kids there mom got 30 chickes from a farm and they laid egs ans stuff and the kids from all around came to feed them :D

Chicks are adorable!

I've brought home four chicks for the weekend in elementary school. :D In my AP Biology class, I took home a quail hatchling, and boy, they are a lot of work!

Hahah, congrats :). In 5th gradeish we tried to hatch eggs inschool but none hatched... we ended up borrowing some from the farm the eggs were from :P
