She/he is gorgeous. :D
The first pic is adorable.

Now for the gender. Lutino cockatiels are a sex-linked mutation so it's very hard to figure out the gender. Most likely if the mother was a lutino then the offspring would be females, but if the father was a lutino then the offspring would be males. The only possible way to tell male and females apart is by behavior or DNA tests.

As for names I only have a few:

Abba
Tin - tin
Theo
Lulu
Reeci
Little Boy Lu

Lutino's can be visually sexed, that's a male, and he is cute! There's no barring on the underside of the tail as far as I can tell.

That's what I was thinking, since he is very white and most females I see are very creamy in color.

I see barring on his wings do they count in sexing or is it only the tails?

It only applies to underneath the tail in Lutino's. Females keep their barring and males do not. Females will have cream barring though, so it might be there and we might not be seeing it. Lethalfire would need to tell us if there's barring.

He's beautiful!!! I almost got a lutino at the pet store, but went with a breeder instead. (Only because they were cheaper...oh, does that sound bad? :o ) Glad to see the hubby caved. lol. You're adorable daughter must have given him the puppydog eyes! ;)

Glad to see he's tame...just what you wanted! Congrats to you & your family!!

Edited to say HA! I didn't even see your message to me when I posted this!)

I am not a good name-picker-outer (as my daughter would say), so sorry I can't halp you there!

Adorable little girl and adorable bird!!!!!!! here's an article that may help you- Lutinos
These birds have no grey at all on them, their bodies cannot make the grey or brown pigments. A bird with a lot of yellow that has dark eyes and perhaps a small area of grey somewhere, even only one feather or toenail, is not a lutino but a pied. Lutinos can be visually sexed since the females will have the same bright yellow spots under the flight feathers and their tails will show a yellow on cream or cream on yellow barring pattern. Males are sexed by the absence of these traits. One note -- a very pale lutino may not show the patterns clearly, try holding a shed tail feather up to a strong light. It has been said that Lutino-pearls are difficult to sex. These same people claim some males retain their pearls for several molts and, depending on the extent of the pearling the underwing spots and tail bars may or may not have been present to begin with in either male or female. If you have a baby lutino-pearl with spots and/or bars who loses them in the juvenile molt you know that you've got a male. If you've got an adult without these markings you can be fairly certain it is a male.

Thanks everyone, I finally put him in his cage, which he is taking advantage of by taking a nap, he was in the perfect location for me to take a flashlight to the underside of his/her tail and there is yellowish bars there.

He/She is only 11-12 weeks old so if the colored bars don't go away after a molt then if I'm right it's a female?
Either way, I was gonna go to a breeder, but I just couldn't resist, he/she still came to the edge of the cage just looking at me, I asked to hold it, when the owner of the store brought it to me he grabbed it full handed and it was rather not happy but STILL didn't bite. It let me pet him/her and everything. I agreed to get it, he clipped the wings for me, and brought it out perched on his hand and said, he/she doesn't even want to try to get away. They were hand fed and tame and I believe it now, we can pet it, put my whole hand over it's back, it has already eaten food out of my hand, preened itself while on my hand, tried to climb up my glasses and has chirped a couple of times.

I am still in total awe of how tame this tiel is.

That was my youngest daughter (4 years old) and as you can tell the tiel does great with her and vice versa, infact the only problem I am having is my daughter is trying to steal my tiel.

I still really need help with names.
