Well i was just watching my budgie and she just started to like gag almost. she just kept doing it over and over again so i decided to film it. Is this a normal behavior? She stopped doing it now it was kind of a one time thing. I'm just wondering what it was if you could watch the video? Thank you!

Hey there! I watched the video and your little sweetie looks completely normal. Most budgies will do that with their beaks. (I like to call it "whorking", although that is not a recognized term). I must admit that when I saw my first budgie doing that, it scared the living daylights out of me since I thought he was choking to death! Rest assured it is a completely normal behaviour. :p

Oh was it warm in your house?Budgies ussually leave thier mouths open to cool off or hang on to the bars of thier cage with thier beaks to cool off when hot.How else could they cool off lol......maybe a bath.....lol.I think he was just hot!
