How tame are your budgies?

I was just interested to know how tame everybody's budgies were. The tamest of my budgies are Percy and Sky. They will easily take food from my hand and let me give them a belly rub (which they love)! What about yours?

My old budgie, Bobby was super tame, and he could talk.

Dusty got on my finger and would sit on my head!

Misty could do step-ups.

Billy likes a tickle.

Lily likes a cuddle.

I'm still working on them though and I will carry on after they've bred.

well still in the process of taming my babies ive got as far as they both will take millet from my hand ! long way to go !

Blinkie is the tamest budgie i've ever met. He'll come when called (most of the time) and loves hanging out on me chatting to me. He can say 'kissy' and even since i introduced Ozzie he's remained just as tame. When i walk into the room he calls for me and races around his cage begging to be let out. Ozzie is tame but not to the same degree. He jumps straight onto my finger when it's time to come out of his cage and he'll stay on me if Blinkie's there too. If he flutters to the floor he'll come running over to me to be put back on the gym.

Chalky used to be scared of everything!! you could hardly go by his cage and he would flap around like mad. After a lot of patience he now takes millet from us and eats out of our hands :) when we are just sitting watching tv, he comes and sits on his cage door and chirps like he is saying 'oi give me attention!' its so cute :budgie:

Tiki is very tame. He runs over to the far side of his perch to play with me and offers his head to me for a good scratch. He eats foods from my hand and readily jumps onto my finger. He nuzzles and nibbles/preens. When let out of the cage he usually stays very close to me and if my hubby comes into the room he runs to be close to me (guess he feels more protected or safe). He is such a joy!! Also if I stick my finger thru his cage bars he will grasp it with his little foot and play or just sit there, like holding hands. So cute!

One of mine "Alby," sits on my shoulder and my finger too,but my other too are retarded I am sorry they are wild they bite and scream!

Aww!! They all sound really cute! Budgies bond really well with humans (normally).

If you start when they are really young, they'll get really tame like Blinkie and Ozzie!
