v2 Phase Three: Updated Style

The current style of the website has been updated to fit the new features of the software upgrade. Probably sometime tomorrow (January 17) I will switch the style over to the updated one. It's very similar to the current one, so don't expect a huge change. Also, you will still have the option to go back to the old (current) style after the change if you don't like the new one. Just keep in mind that the old style doesn't support all the features available in the new style.

They're not huge features. Just small things like you can mark individual forums as read from the forum home by clicking their status icon (on the far left). The Karma button will open a drop down box instead of loading a new page. Stuff like that.

Mine is a drop down one as well. :) It changed when I Dave put the infraction system in and updated to a newer version of the forum software. But if it does the site good, then great. ;)

The template option haven't come into the profile or user options yet so I doubt the new template is active right now. I know there won't be much difference, but it's just to support the features and to enhance it a tiny bit. :)

I think they're supposed to show how long you've been a member. The more stars, the longer the membership. I think it only goes up to four stars though, so that isn't very useful. :P

You can change back Joe, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Talk Budgies Version 1.' rather than the 'Steel 6.x' one. I'm going to stick with the new one personally. :P I like it!

Is it supported in this template Dave? It is a different template I think since there are a few modifactions. If it is essential then maybe a thread posted on a VBulletin help site might help. :)

It's a vBulletin code, so it should show up on any style, especially between 3.5 and 3.6 since there were no major code changes (as in 3.0 to 3.5). This is the same reason why I was able to use the old style (a 3.5 style) after the software upgrade (3.6). However, you might be right in the sense that they could have changed this specific code for some reason. I'll look into it.
