It was brought to my attention that there was no mention of our chat room moderating capabilities in our privacy policy. After reviewing our TOS and privacy policy, I found out that this indeed was the case.
With that said, I have added a statement in the privacy policy about staff access to chat room logs.
Chat Room Logs
To help protect our members and enforce the site guidelines even when no staff are present, we keep logs of all messages made using the chat room software. This includes any messages made in pre-set chat rooms, member-created chat rooms (even if they are private), temporary special event chat rooms, private messages, and any other means of communication using the chat room. All administrators and moderators have access to these logs for review.
I encourage everyone to take this time to re-read the privacy policy, TOS, and site guidelines. Because your continued use of the site requires your acceptance of these terms, it advised you re-read these pages every once in a while even if no changes were made.
