I'm going to probably be buying 3 or 4 pacific parrotlets,

The only thing I'm woundering is will they be ok all together? I read they can get a bit agressive towards each other when in paires .. but I would be having all siblings most likley.

Should I get all females or all males, somthing like that?

Also there not too loud right? I mean I own a conure and lovebird .. so geussing by these little birds size there not very loud ... I would keep them busy with toys and they'll have a large cage to live in all together.

Thanks!

I also need forum that deals with just these birds .. like budgie talk lol.

I know you cant house pairs together, they will get agressive, i'm not sure about all the same sex. you might want to try daves sister forum www.talkparrotlets.com They will advise you too.

BUUZBEE has two beautiful Pacific Parrotlets, I'm sure she'll be happy to help you.

How long have you researched on these birds?

For about 5 weeks now, I have been reading about everything else except housing them together, I have seen 6 of them together at the pet shop and they where all snuggling together .. it was so cute ^_^

I have a Parrotlet, *Pickles*. Please do not get more than one, females are especially aggressive and will attack to the point of killing another female if they are fighting over the same male. Male's are happy to live together but you need a huge cage, they need space, more space than a Budgie does. Parrotlets also need stimulation, A LOT of it throughout the day. Inside and outside their cages. Pickles is outside at all times, she is rarely in her cage, only for the night. If you stop handling them they will go wild on you.
They are part of the Amazon family, so they do come with an attitude. Get 1 Parrotlet, not 4. It's like having 4 teeny Amazon's in the house.
Parrotlet's are not loud. Anymore questions about Parrotlets you have, I'll be happy to answer.

Pickles gets loud but no where near as loud as Zeus the Cockatiel lol, Lemon has a Conure and a Lovebird... I was basing my answer on that. When Green Bean and Pickles were together they got pretty loud.

Pickles gets roudy at night or if we have food or want to play soccer lol.

Zeus can out yell an Amazon, that's how loud he is lol. It drives Pickles crazy.

Alright these little birds are not for me then, I want birds where I can get many of them.

I'm going to be getting more lovebirds -- up to 5 more and one might be Albino ^_^ also I might be getting 2 rare violet lovebirds ... I'm not sure about the rest.

Lovebirds can also live up to 20 if well looked after. :)

Thanks for the info everyone! maybe sometime I'll just get one parrolet but not now.

Lovebirds are ALSO not birds you can just house together, once they get paired up, they will start killing eachother off. You don't want that to happen! I know a girl who decided to get her Lovie a friend! Then another friend and another friend. They were all dead one morning, literally torn to bits.
Get more Budgies or Finches.
Lovebirds are not very nice to eachother.
