Spike's new cage

Anna (BUUZBEE) was nice enough to to ship over one of her extra cages for Spike. (thanks Anna!) It came today and Spike loves it, he finally has enough room to play with toys and move around.
Also another thing that surprised me:
I put in the 3 food cups, one filled with water, one seed and the other pellets. When Spike first got in the cage, he went to go find some food. He immediately dug right into the pellets, like they were a cup full of millet! :D How lucky am I? I figured it would take a while to introduce him, as he's already 10 and I doubt he's seen pellets before. What a good boy!!:p

I'm so glad you finally got Spike's new cage. He must be so happy that he has alot of room now to play. That's really good that he's interested in pellets.

It does look smaller in the photos, especially the head-on ones. He has enough room to spread out his wings and move around a lot, and it's twice as big as the cage he has been in for 10 years, so I think this will do him good. He's out most of the day as well. :)

I think Bono is in the exact same cage... only his is black. Good to hear that Spike is able to stretch out a bit more, and very cool of Buuzbee to help out Spike in such a way.

Thats true, the cage does look small in the photos, but i had 2 bourkes in that cage , and 2 parrotlets, and i've also have 3 budgies (not all at the same time!)
