Just been on the harrisons oficial website:

Yes i read that too, but is it suposed to replace their seed/pellet diet?

yes i think so,as it an all year round diet.im not sure though:(

I don't think I'd be inclined to feed it to my budgies as a replacement for seeds. I don't see a problem adding it to their diet in combination with what you already give them. Like anything, variety is important. I didn't like how one of the websites I saw seemed to think that this diet was better than feeding veggies and fruits.

Mine get pellets/seeds and their veggies etc. daily. This felt like a powder in the bag, so i wasnt sure if it was some kind of egg mix (i've yet to see that here in so cal!, only online)
