Yes, I have had lots of dogs over the years. I love dogs! It's been 6 years since we've last had any. We lost two within a year of each other and it was terribly hard. My husband had had both of them for 13-14 years. He wasn't ready for another dog yet so that is how we came to get Sheldon!! Yay Budgies!!

We do go out to eat but very rarely is it for dinner.

Just went to a restuarant called 'Santiago's' and I think the owner is from Chile... anyways, the food is delicious.. a lot of spice, rice, unusual dishes from Thailand (:S) and India too.. curries, natchos etc.. and the wine list is pretty interesting too as a lot of them are of course from South America.. oh and I almost forgot!:p you can scribble with crayons on the 'paper' tablecloths!!

Yes.. love horses.. used to ride competitively while living in Nairobi, Kenya for awhile...joined the Pony Club, went on long-distance rides through the Rift Valley and even railed them up near Mt. Kenya as there was an IntraMural Pony Club Trials up there.. very different here in Canada though..

Being in Victoria, Vancouver Island we don't get that many thunderstorms... and I miss those.. used to get tons of those in Ontario but just diff. weather patterns etc..

Don't get sandstorms! but lots of fog... :)

We DO get some major windstorms though.. they are pretty exciting - esp. to even watch the seaplanes try and take off and land.. usually our ferry system is shut down though..:p A lot of trees get uprooted, hydro sometimes goes off and lots of rain... and we do get lots of that esp. in the winters... but that's why we're so green! :rain:

If we get snow... :smow: it usually melts by the end of the day...

Yup...did it yesterday. I have learned to not cut off the root end though and that helps a lot! Putting them in the freezer fro about 15 minutes before I need to cut them helps also.

Yes. A tornado passed through the field by my family's home once (well.. more than once actually, but I was only there for one) and when I was in high school I felt the aftershocks of an earthquake. Fun stuff!
