Green Bean

My Green Bean flew to rainbow bridge today. She was only 2 months old, she wasn't ready to go to a home, the breeder didn't realize and Bean died from choking on a seed. I don't really want to talk about it, I'll talk on my own time.

Oh Liz, I am so sorry to hear this! Only 2 months old! My little baby budgie is six weeks old, I can empathise with how you feel. Please post a photo when you feel up to it, if you can. RIP sweet Green Bean. Way too young to go to the bridge.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the love.

My Green Bean was such a beautiful little baby girl, I've decided not to get any new little birds, I'll continue to breed with the ones I have, I will get Pickles a male, but I will not buy anymore. I mean a Macaw won't choke on a seed like Bean did. I'm pretty depressed, I miss Beanie but there's nothing I can do. She is in her favorite hut right now in a corner of the house, we are going to buy a potted plant tomorrow and plant her so we can have her spirit with us with the plant. When we feed the other birds, we will water Green Bean.

My heart breaks for you! Green Bean was beautiful and the picture you posted of her is very special, yet heartbreaking. Wow, that is way too young to lose your friend, and it was so tragic besides.

I know this was very painful for you to talk about, but I'm glad you at least told us about your loss. We are all standing with you, Liz, and no doubt - this hurts all of us.

poor green bean thats so young my rabbit charlotte died today when i was at the pool she was old rip green bean and charlotte
