Hello my name is Bonnie and I am new to this. I am from Canada. I have just resently gotten into budgies. My first Budgies's name is Chicken and she is mostly yellow with a green tail. I have had her for 2 yrs now, she loves to fly around the house and lands where ever she wants, lol. My second budgie which I got for christmas name is Buddy and he is blue and white, he loves to chirp and listen to music he is still a little shy when he is out of his cage. I also have 2 little bird friends that come to visit when there owners are on vaction, there names are Kiwi , which is a green and yellow male , and an albino female names coco, Kiwi is quite the charcter and loves to be with humans he has learned to speak and he say oh my god, I hope that my 2 birds will be like him with time.

I am open to talk to anyone and if anyone has any suggestions on traing budgies I would like to hear from them.

Welcome to the forum! Kiwi is a great name for a budgie (well, I should confess that I think that way because I happen to have a budgie named Kiwi!!). Anyway, I am sure you'll find lots of great information here. We've got very friendly and knowledgeable people who can share their expertise and experiences. Feel free to browse through the various posts. In fact, I am positive you will find some information on training your sweeties!! :p

I purchased an ebook I found very helpfeul in training my two parakeets it's called parakeet secrets...you can look it up and have it downloaded in seconds....but the key to good training is patience and love...and care.TLC....work with your budgie early in the morning for speech repeat the starter word every morning a few times before you uncover thier cage....and a feww times at night when they are covered again so thier attention is only on you also try to do it in the same pitch and volume each time.
