Have 7 budgies. Got my first pair for my daughter. Was rearing them for a year not fell in love with them. Have breed 2 sets of young, had to stop ran out of room. In the process of building a bigger cage any pointers anyone.:budgie:

Hey Foreman! Welcome to the site :) . Sounds like you have quite a lot of experience with budgies.

As for building cages, I've never done it. Perhaps your local bird store would have some tips for you. :)

Depending on your space, I can, perhaps, give you some tips on building outdoor cages. I, normally, build either 6'high X 6' wide X 3' deep or 8'high X 12' long x 4' wide using 2X2s and 1/4 inch hardware cloth. If interested, email me and I'll send you a photo of my avaries.
