Motorcycle accedent leaves to....

A lost cousin..:( My cousin Tyson, died when he crashed into a car on his motorcycle. He was only 17, and he died on new years day. My parents are going cross country by plane to go visit my uncle and aunt and make sure they are not going to miss the funeral.

Thursday through sunday are going to be hectic for me and my brother. I'm going with me cousin, and my brother is going with my other cousin. Since we can't miss school, we are going to school with my cousins (luckily, we are in the same town, so same schools) Then Friday, my aunt is coming over and we're going back home. She's staying with us until my parents get back.

It is a very sad time in our family, since he was still young. :( :( :(

I am so sorry about your cousin. What a terrible thing to have happen. :( It hits too close to home for me because I have a 17 yr. old Son and my other Son is 16 and a half. So I can't imagine the pain that your Uncle and Aunt are going through.

How far away did your cousin live? It is good that your parents can go be with the family. My heart goes out to you all.

Well, my cousin lived all the way in California, and we live in Connecticut. If they didn't live so far away, we would probably beable to go, but I'm fine with being left behind. That would be too emotional to me.

That is tragic, my condolences. My sons lost a friend about the same age when he was hit by a car while riding his bike. It sure affected them and the rest of their group. At that age you think you are invulnerable and it is a shock to have it demonstrated so vividly that you are not.

It is worse for the parents because as they say, no parent should have to bury their child. I hope they have lots of friends and family to help them through this.

Send another card of condolence or even flowers in about a month or so.
They will find it a comfort to know that people are still thinking about them and their loss. By that time they could be feeling alone and like they have been forgotten about.

I am VERY sorry Elise! I just lost a CLOSE family friend who was only 15 in a car accident november 6th. that was my worst week ever! I know how you feel! I got to miss school for the funeral though, but it was a half day and i just still cant believe what happened! i am SOOOOOOOOOO sorry!

Dear Elise, I am so sad about this post.. I am very sorry for whit happened.. Many years ago I've lost my cousin. He was 30years old and he had a baby. he was with his motorcycle and someone passed with red light and melted him. They didn't let me go to the funeral, to not see him like this.. I still remember him as he was, not as he died. I wish you to find the courage to walk through your sadness and remember only happy moments with him.
