Amazing budgie story

My sister volunteers at a bird rescue, and the last time that she worked a woman called in about a budgie she had found. Apparently, she was outside of her home when suddenly a budgie landed on her head! She didn't know who to call, so she called the bird rescue even though it is for wild birds. Can you believe that? What a smart and lucky budgie to find a human! Anyway, the bird rescue took in the budgie and was going to call some other agencies to try and find the budgie's owner. My sister offered to take the budgie in if the owner can't be found. I still can't get over how lucky that budgie is! The outside world is a dangerous place for a little budgie! :budgie:

That's a great story! That budgie was so lucky to land on a human and not a cat! ;) I hope they can find the owner. I'm sure both the owner and the budgie are both scared.
