I personally never used the vitamin drops, so I have no clue if they work. About the fruits and veggies keep on offering them to Periwinkle, sooner or later she will give them a try. Make sure you do offer variety, so there is more of a chance that she will like one fruit or veggie.
Goodluck and hope Peri will soon start eating her fruits and veggies. :)

i would say the drops cant hurt (i dont use them myself)
grate some carrots and add it to seed, they will eventually try it, and then you can add other stuff
good luck

Don't give up on the fruit and veg. It took a lot to get my budgie, Minty to eat her first bit of fruit. Eventually curiosity wore her over and she decided to try a bit, and after that her favourite food has been apple!

I hadn't thought to try carrots. I tried apples and she kicked them out of the cage!

Hehe! Well perhaps try to offer a different variety of fruit and veg so you get to know which ones she likes and dislikes :)

majority of mine preffer veggies. i have some that like apples, but not many
i also will thinly slice lettuce, grated carrot and corn kernals, mix them up and give that to them. that seems to work better for me. but most people find the grated carrot and seed works wonders
good luck

My birds don't eat their fruit and veggies either. :o Which is a shame but never or less I do still offer it to them. I do try and encourage, not too much but now and then.
At the moment I am at that stage where they will go look at it. I don't know if it's bad but I coated the fruit peice with seed once, but it didn't do much good. I know Bluebell will only eat apple now and then but Nero is thoroughly stubborn.

This is a common problem for many budgie owners, but the key is to be patience and persistent :)
Try boiling, grating, or mashing up some veggies and see which Periwinkle prefers. Some budgies are very picky about what they eat and will only consume the foods how they like it cooked.
My Grace loves carrot sticks, but will never eat it if it's mashed or steams.
Good luck to you and never give up :)
