Having worked in a record shop for years, I have learned how to hear more than one thing at the time. Something in real time....like the news show on TV right now, and something in my head.....like the drinking song in act two of Thomas' opera HAMLET. (And it is playing full volume in my head right now.) I call it "selective" hearing. I also have "convenient" hearing. I can completely block out sounds. I think that comes from sometimes hearing four or five record players going at the same time..... It also works very well when I don't want to be distracted by orders from my wife. :-)

Abanndonnecd first clutch by mom was fostered out to two other breeding hens...first one hatched at 23 days and fully healthy rare...fostered by a lovely first time mommy, left single mommy who is fostering another chick along w/7 others. She's a very admirable soul. I feel her as many times as I can daily as her "mate" is slacking. She's rearing my yf2 crested and she's a normal spangle opaline green. She is a sweetie. NOT hand raised, but smart enough to recognize her maternal budgie necessities.
