I was just wondering, how many budgies do you think would fit into the cage that's in the link if two were stacked up on each other to make one big cage?
Here's the link:

24x16x16 doesn't look that big of a cage to me, so if you were to double that, I'd say 3 or 4.
I'm not really sure, but I do know that the minimum size for a single budgie should be 18x18x18

that is just a bit smaller than what i have here...

mine are 30x18x18
this one you are looking at is 24x16x16
i houses 2 adults & 3 babies for 2 months in my size, i would say 2 would be fine in that one :)

Thanks for the replies softie and BUZBEE.
Oh, and for the website BUZBEE. ;)
Are there any websites/cages that you know of that are good for multiple budgies and doesn't cost that much ? For some reason I'm looking into cages, and since my parents aren't up for helping I want to find the best for my fids and be able to pay for it at the same time.
Any advice? (not on convincing my parents, I know they won't help)

thats a shame you cant convince your parents to get them. maybe show them how much ones go on ebay, and how much they could sell them for. keep 2 sell 2 lol
maybe if we could get enough people on here wanting them & will pay for shipping i could get them & sell them to you. you would need 3 others though (and in the us)
this was the only website besides ebay that had them, and i've only bought in bulk of 4.

BUUZBEE, since you have more experience than me
What measurements do you recommend for a budgie cage if I get one/two built?
Also what type of mesh/wire do you recommend?
I really appreciate your help.

well if your going to build one, it will probably cost less than to buy one... build as big as you can!
the wire mesh i used on the aviary is 1/4'' hardware cloth, you can get it at home depot or lowes type stores.

Is it hard to put together?
I've thought of making them one and I have the picture in my mind, it would be one with a divider in the middle to seperate my brothers and mines Budgies. It would be a good Idea to sketch out right?
But the thing is I don't know how to connect the wood to the mesh and how to make the corners meet. How did you build your's, did you find a website?
I would like mine exactly like that but with a divider.

the pic i posted was one i found on the web... its not mine. i love it though! if i were to have an inside one, i'd like it to be like that. they are from germany if i remember right. you will need to find someone that has basic knowledge of carpentry. my hubby is ok with the tools and build our outside aviary.
theres an old saying measure twice, cut once! lol

4? no way!!!
Well what if the first pic that A-n-M posted were stacked and connected to make one big cage? I also said four, but only if they were doubled...

its better to have the cage length longer than the height.
this is also a good site for cages, heres the link
http://www.birdandcage.com/flight.html
the two bottom ones would be a good style sorta thing... ther longer than the height. but thre very large and you may not have the room for them so it depends on the space you got.
