Today I took sometime to take pics of my Lovebirds and Emerson, since most of the pics in my picture folder are over run by Budgies. I would also like to share some with everyone here, since pics are the most wanted. Okay here we go hope everyone enjoys them. :D

Thanks JuliesGonnaDance and Softie! :).
Emerson is quite camera shy, so I'm glad
I got a few of him. I do believe the Lovebirds
were made to be in front of the camera though :p.

My dad wanted lovebirds but we figured they aren't the best beginner birds.
I just have to ask, where are their nostrils? lol
Lovebirds are so pretty and beautiful but sometimes they remind me of that guy from Star Trek

The Lovebirds do look like such posers, so gorgeous. I would also like to know where their nostrils are. :o

Haha, I wondered what I found so strange about their beaks! It's that I can't find their nostrils. They're very beautiful though. They look so poised.

Their nostrils are located right above the beak, sort
of where the budgies and cockatiels are. Unlike
budgies and cockatiels, lovebirds nostrils aren't quite visable.
Maybe these pics can help you in some way.

I agree lovebirds aren't the best beginner birds, they are
the hardest to tame and train.
Also special thanks to Gilligan for being a good sport
and letting me take pics of his nostrils.

Thanks for the pictures!
Their beaks are huge, even bigger than Em's.
Trust me you don't want to get bitten by one either. :)

Yes, I've heard that their bite is painful and they like to bite often. =\
My dad has been playing back and forth with birds. First he wanted a cockatoo but he didn't want to spend so much money. Then he wanted a tiel but then I guess it sort of grew out of him. Then he wanted lovebirds and when I researched, figured they may be too much for us to handle.
And then it was my idea to get budgies. He didn't like budgies at the time and kept saying no. I convinced him by bringing him to a shop with all these budgies and he finally agreed :)
He now tells me he wants a cockatoo but no one's home half the day.

I wish my parents would at least consider other birds, but they don't like the whole having a pet thing. They think it's a waste of time, I wonder why they let me get so many anyway.

AnM, Gilligan, Maddee, Angel and Em are real cuties, what a nice looking flock you have. They must keep you busy all day.

Thanks Cliff
They do keep me busy, taking each and everyone out for training can get quite tiring, but that doesn't hold me back from spending lots of time with them.

i have a question.how do you tell the lovies apart?
Is easy, they all are different if you look at them closely
Maddee is the fattest and has a baby face.
Gilligan is jade green, and kind of looks like a tiny amazon.
Angel is my thinnest in the face.
People say its kind of hard to tell them apart, but once you get to know them you never forget.
Amy, I too want a cockatiel, that is a friend for Emerson.
