Hello!
So sorry to not have posted an introduction! My babies (adult budgies) are:
RED (blue budgie)
PATTY (Green/yellow budgie)
SELMA(green budgie)
RAY (olive green/yellow budgie)

I will be adopting 2 more budgies sometime this week. They are coming from a home where they are fed and watered, but otherwise neglected. I am a stay at home mom, so I am with my babies all day! They live right outside my bedroom door where they are surronded by natural light (not direct sunlight). They are not tame, but I love to hear them sing, and watch them play all day.
Both pairs have been showing signs of wanting to mate, and that is how I found you guys! What a great forum for questions and answers!
I have just given the budgies their nest boxes, and they seem very interested in them, if only from the outside for now. Hopefully soon they will be using them!

There has been a slight delay in the arrival of the 2 adoptees. They should be here one day next week, the current owner is now upset that they are leaving, and is trying to come to terms with it. Geez, you don't care for them, and then all of a sudden you are sad they are leaving???? Make up your mind!

Well from one Deb to another.......Welcome!!! You'll love this forum and everyone on it.......Some people that have birds are clueless as to how they need to be taken care of.....I hope you get your two new ones soon so you can start spoiling them good!!!!
