Please help me out!

I have had two budgies for about a year. The birds do not seem to get on very well at times and this causes fights etc. My main problem however, is that I am regularly woken up at about 7am by the budgies "talking" to birds outside the window. After this I cannot get back to sleep as the noise continues. Is there any way in which I can make this situation better?

Do you cover them with a sheet or light cloth/blanket at night? If you don't already then maybe you could try that. :)

Thank you for your kind welcome, and fast replies! I had tried covering them up with a light blanket, and at first, this resolved the problem, but after a while they resumed waking me up at undesirable hours! The only other thing I can do is quite awkward - the cage is quite large and moving it to another room in the house every night takes about 5 minutes, and generally isn't too convinient. Any other ideas?

Hmmmm......do they have lots and lots and lots of toys?? It's a tough one cause they're not exactly calling to the outside birds out of lonliness cause they have each other...

Yeah, they're fine for toys, I spose they're just really sociable. They're talking to them very loudly right now.. I wonder what they're communicating to each other.

Hmmm....well i'm out of ideas, hopefully someone will come up with more. You should be grateful they're letting you sleep till 7am. :p When i had budgies in my room i was getting woken up anywhere from 5am - 6am by mating budgies!

Billy and Lily alway chirp at Blackbirds, Sparrows, ect. It's annoying!

I've had the same thing as Bea! Billy and Lily woke me up yesterday, by mating!
